PRESENTATIONS . . . . .
MY WORKSHOPS INCLUDE SLIDES, AUDIENCE INTERACTION, EXERCISES, AND HANDOUTS FOR EVERYONE. I HAVE TAUGHT ADULTS AND CHILDREN THROUGH MORE THAN 350 WRITING AND PUBLISHING CLASSES.
WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING
. . . Your seminar was one of the best presentations I have ever attended, and that's a professional assessment. You are knowledgeable, interesting, with a great attitude, and excellent handouts. I came with few expectations and brought home tremendous information and motivation. I will implement the information immediately. (3rd grade teacher)
. . . We almost didn't sign Will up for this class because, honestly, this is a difficult time for us financially. Your class went far beyond our expectations! I've never seen him quite so excited about writing and going to school. We just want to thank you for being such a wonderful teacher and inspiration. I'm a grateful mom.
. . . Before I took your workshop, writing was hard for me. I can hardly wait to go home and write with my children. I never felt I could help them before. (parent)
. . . You made writing simple. I hope it's simple when you are gone. (5th grade student)
. . . Joan has saved me days, weeks, maybe even months of wasted time. (author)
SLIDE INTO READING, WRITING, AND PUBLISHING takes children through an interactive slide presentation of book writing from thoughtful writing creation, to computing, to the publishing house, to the editor and illustrator, to the book manufacturer, off to the bookstores and into the hands of children to read.
WRITING MADE EASY gives teachers additional writing skills and renewed confidence. They will also be able to help students identify their feelings and choose positive responses while incorporating the five paragraph rules of writing.
